Arquipélago

Arquipélago is Tailored Coding’s agentic operating system. It brings together purpose-built components that coordinate specialist agents and subagents, connect tools, and carry projects forward with context, quality criteria and clear accountability. It is also the platform we use in our daily work.

What it is

Arquipélago organizes work with artificial intelligence, connecting objectives, people, agents, tools and knowledge within a governed environment. Each project brings together its context, decisions, sources and deliverables, so work can resume with a clear view of what has been done and what still needs verification.

Its components are built for concrete needs. They coordinate groups of agents and subagents with complementary specialties, distributing tasks among agents equipped for programming, quality assurance (QA), design, web interfaces, security, IT management, data analysis and data science, among other fields. Each group is assembled to match the project’s scope; our team retains direction and accountability.

We can create custom sets of agents for different fields and activities, tailored to each client’s processes, knowledge and needs. The platform is flexible by design: its specialties evolve with the work.

Specialist Capabilities, Tangible Results

Coordinated Teams

We assemble workstreams for each challenge, combining existing specialties with custom agents and skills. Planning, execution and review follow clear objectives; outputs are brought together and evaluated before becoming part of the deliverable.

Skills for Real Work

An extensible skill library and an advanced proprietary skill factory let us develop capabilities for different fields. We create and adapt methods, tools and verification criteria to each client’s needs, expanding the platform as the work evolves.

Continuity Across Stages

Context, decisions and records stay with the project. Work can progress across sessions and specialties with clear references to what is in development, under review or complete.

Governance from the Start

Permissions, operating boundaries and approval points are built into the workflow. The platform distinguishes information sources from instructions and records checks and outstanding questions to support professional judgment.

Model choice

Commercial or open, by cost, quality, security and regulatory requirements. Switching changes neither rules nor records.

Environment choice

Where the work happens: terminal, IDE, desktop application, chat platform, the client's server.

Infrastructure choice

In the client's environment, in ours, or in a dedicated facility. Open models in hosting and processing regions selected to meet the client’s applicable regulatory data residency requirements.

Interoperability

MCP and APIs for what the company already uses; curated open source where it fits; no dependence on one vendor.

How We Govern the Work

  • Permissions and boundaries are defined for each context; technical enforcement depends on the capabilities of the execution environment.
  • Actions with material effects follow the authorized scope and applicable approval points.
  • Sensitive information receives specific handling, with restrictions on access and inclusion in records and deliverables.
  • Documents, web pages and tool results are treated as information sources, without authority to change the rules of the work.
  • Checks and limitations are recorded to distinguish verified results from outstanding questions.
  • Rules, responsibilities and licensing are documented; our team retains direction and evaluates the results.

For whom

Small businesses

One component for the process that takes the most staff time, hosted by us or in the client's environment, with governance from day one and no need for an in-house AI team.

Mid-size companies

Several components under the same governance, integrated with existing systems, in a private cloud or on the client's premises, with AI inventory and policy managed through the platform.

Corporations

Components for the company's divisions, dedicated AI infrastructure, open models in regions aligned with regulatory data residency requirements, audit trails for the board and the regulator.

Ourselves

The platform supports and records Tailored Coding's professional work, from engineering to documentation, under the same rules we offer to clients; decisions stay with the team.

How it is engaged

Each engagement is tailored. Clients use Arquipélago through the components we build for them and the infrastructure those components run on; licensing is agreed case by case. The first step is usually the AI inventory and governance, which identifies the AI already in use and the process where a governed component would make the greatest difference.
