Software Engineering

The system your business needs may not exist off the shelf. Or it may need to connect with systems you already run. Our specialists build what is missing, connect what exists and keep the business running through the transition. We document the architecture so the system outlives the team that built it.

When it makes sense

The off-the-shelf product does not fit

The operation has rules of its own that no ready-made product accommodates without becoming a pile of workarounds, and the cost of adapting it now exceeds the cost of building your own.

Two systems need to talk

The ERP, the CRM and the plant system exchange spreadsheets by e-mail. Every exchange invites errors, and nobody knows which version to trust.

The legacy is holding the company back

The core system is fifteen years old, one person understands it, and every change takes months. Replacing it all at once would expose the operation to too much risk, and postponing the replacement has a cost that grows every year.

Scale arrived before architecture

What worked for a hundred customers stalls at ten thousand. Before buying a bigger machine, measure where the design breaks down; the bottleneck is often somewhere unexpected.

What we do

  • Architecture documented before codeDecisions recorded with alternatives and reasons. Modular monoliths when they suffice, microservices when justified, events when the operation is asynchronous by nature.

  • Integrations that survive changeExplicit, tested contracts between systems, with failure behavior defined beforehand. REST and asynchronous APIs, queues, events and compatibility layers while old and new systems run side by side.

  • Modernization in stagesWe replace the legacy system piece by piece, keeping the business running and reconciling data as it moves.

  • Web and mobile applicationsInterfaces in React, mobile applications in Flutter for iOS and Android from a single codebase, with accessibility and performance measured.

  • Data with definitionsData models, pipelines and reports with a clear definition alongside every figure.

  • Evidence that it does what it saysAutomated tests, continuous integration, observability and a verification record with every delivery.

What you receive

A system in production, with the code, the architecture documentation, the tests and the deployment environment delivered as part of the work. Key decisions include dates, alternatives and the reasons behind them. Every delivery records what was verified, how and with what result, in a form an auditor or technical reviewer can use without calling us.

After delivery, operation under a monthly agreement, with monitoring, patching, incident response and reporting, or a complete handover to your team, with the knowledge your team needs documented.

Architecture review

2 weeks · fixed price, quoted on scoping

We review the code, infrastructure and available documentation, talk to the people who operate the system, and deliver a roadmap: what exists, where it is fragile, what to modernize and in what order, with the effort estimated for each stage.

Frequently asked

Do you work with our team or instead of it?

With it, whenever there is one. Knowledge transfer is part of the scope. If there is no team, we operate under contract until there is.

What if our technology is not on the list?

These are the technologies we work with most often. The review establishes whether keeping your current technology makes sense, and we say so when it does not.

How does the fixed price work?

The review defines the scope; the scope defines the price. Changes along the way are agreed in writing before they happen.
